This site is dedicated to parents and fans of the Green Bay Packers. The site will cover goal achievement, parenting tips, travel, and tracking the Green Bay Packers.
The audience is not limited to fathers and sons. It’s also for mothers, uncles, aunts and godparents.
I created this community in an effort to foster a legacy between parents and children using passion for the Green Bay Packers as the foundation.
Personally, I have a goal to take my son to every Packers game during one NFL season.
At the time of this site launch, that means 16 games. The asterisk* is used to signify that there are more than 16 NFL games in a season. “Son Days” is a play-on-words. I have one son and typically NFL games are played on Sundays. The asterisk is also meant to acknowledge that many of the games are now played on Thursdays, and Mondays. (Pretty obvious for the average football fan, but I thought I would spell it out a bit.)
Do I expect you to share the same goal to go to every game?
Nope. That’s not a goal for everyone.
My son Harrison and I would like to invite you to join us for one Son Day or all 16 Son Days if you wish.
We will be adding a countdown clock to the site and it will be set for 9 years from now. Why 9 years? Because Harrison will be 16 years-old in 9 years and I figured that would be a good age to attend all 16 Packers games.
I hope at that age, the memories for him will last forever.
Please add your email below if you have interest in becoming a part of the *16 Son Days community.
We look forward to meeting you!
Mike & Harrison
